A multi-national technology and manufacturing company wanted to improveits 3rd party Sustainability and Supply Chain Assessment scores and needed ac onsultant who could review the current position, analyse new sources ofi nformation and assess them, and provide recommendations to improve performance, in terms of policy development and language, modelling different outcomes for improvement, and the cost implications of these improvements and developments.
From a set of matched talent, a consultant with an international reputation in advising corporate and institutional clients across sectors and regions on human rights strategy and management was selected to run the project.

The project consisted of two key phases and outcomes:

Gap Analysis: the consultant reviewed the performance against CHRB’s and KTC’s methodologies and to identify key gaps  relative to the expectations of these bodies full set of KPIs. From this they were able to finalize the opportunities for improvement including developing additional policies and processes.

As part of this they also undertook benchmarking to compare the clientwith similar businesses in order to provide more insights to stakeholders through a series of presentations.

Following these findings, phase two of the project covered recommendations and roadmaps, with a focus on programs and policies that would advance human rights with special emphasis on this advancement in the Supply Chain. They led a workshop to prioritize the recommendations so that the client was able to embark on a program to deliver against the roadmap and improve their overall sustainability scores.
